Tom Jessiman is the CEO and co-founder of #HASHOFF. He oversees product, operations and strategic relationships. He has founded and run a number of digital media enterprises in consumer Internet and social media over the past 20 years.
Prior, he launched Wayin, a social intelligence and content curation company, with Scott McNealy, founder of Sun Microsystems. Tom founded Pickspal, the sports social networking community — the first sports application on Facebook — and sold later to Liberty Media. He founded Sports.com, Europe’s leading online sports and gaming portal. In June 2002 during the World Cup, Sports.com was the second most visited sports site globally. Previously, he served as Senior Vice President, Operations, for CBS SportsLine.com. He has launched corporate venture groups for IBM and US WEST.
He is a graduate of Harvard Business School and the University of North Carolina.
Joel is President and Co-Founder of #HASHOFF and responsible for business operations for the company.
Prior to #HASHOFF, he ran the media organization in the Americas for Travelocity, a global leader in the online travel category. He was responsible for over $80 million in annual revenue in both display, mobile, tablet and video. Successfully turned around business that was declining by double digits to 18% year over year growth in 2013. Travelocity's North American interests were acquired by Expedia (NASDAQ: EXPE) in 2013 and managed transition of media assets as a part the agreement.
He also had extensive experience in the entertainment industry starting and building the digital practice for leading Hollywood talent agency Paradigm. For large established media companies like Yahoo! (NASDAQ: YHOO) and start-ups like Marc Andreessen's company Ning, Inc. which was acquired by GLAM Media.
He has been recognized by his peers for his professional achievement. In 2007, he was named to the Hollywood Reporter’s “35 Under 35 Top Executives in Entertainment”, recognized by TV Week in 2008 as an, “Agent of Change”, the Yahoo!, Inc. MVP award in 2003 as a top 10 national sales executives and the product he co-developed, AdVision won Macromedia's MAX award and Media Magazine’s “Best of the Net” in 2002.
Steven J Farella
Steve is an entrepreneur in the media agency space.
He was the founding CEO of Havas’ media agency, MPG. He co-founded the fastest growing independent media agency, TargetCast tcm in 2002, which he sold to MDC Partners. Today Steve currently serves as founding Chairman of MDC Media Partners and Assembly Media, a newly launched media agency providing scaled media solutions powered by unique planning and buying technologies.
Before launching media agencies Steve built and managed media groups at several leading national advertising agencies including Jordan McGrath Case & Partners, Young & Rubicam, Wells Rich Greene/BDDP and Ammirati & Puris. He started his career at Benton & Bowles.
He has served on several committees at the AAAA's, currently Chairs the Advisory Committee of St. John's University's School of Professional Studies, has been a speaker at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School, a past President of the Advertising Club of New York and currently a Board Member the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
